For the fourth year in a row in Oahu, Hawai`i, The Rice Partnership encouraged and further fostered the development of nearly 300 young women in the Girl Scouts’ island-wide “Cookie Expo and University.”
The Girl Scout Program is the largest girl-led, development program in the world – girls are taught leadership and entrepreneurship skills, to form healthy relationships, urged to challenge themselves and above all, encouraged to explore their potential. This program gives the youths the tools it takes to climb mountains, create positive change and become the leaders of tomorrow.
The Rice Partnership knows a thing or two about women in business — Bonnie Rice, the founder, has been a trusted wealth advisor for over 30 years. She has led her management team by providing customized solutions to wealth management for individuals, families and foundations alike. Now working alongside her daughter, Ashley Wilken, the pair have opened a third location on California’s Central Coast.
Thanks to these outstanding women, what has quickly become one of the Girl Scouts’ most popular and educational events, was held January 5, 2020 at the Moana Regional Park of Oahu. The Expo focused on five important skills to sculpt the future of these young women: goal setting, decision-making, money management, people skills and business ethics.
