The Rice Partnership to Host Seminar on Charitable Giving Strategies at the Newly Restored Octagon Barn on Oct. 17
The complimentary seminar will empower donors, philanthropies and non-profits to maximize the giving process through tax efficient charitable giving strategies.
October 3, 2019 (San Luis Obispo, Calif.) – The Rice Partnership, in conjunction with The Land Conservancy of San Luis Obispo and Schwab Charitable, is hosting a complimentary seminar on charitable giving strategies at the historic – and recently renovated – Octagon Barn at 5:30pm on Thursday, Oct. 17.
To RSVP, simply email: ashley@thericepartnership.com. For directions to the Octagon Barn, please click here.
The seminar will be led by Shawn Jensen of Schwab Charitable, who will guide guests through the many innovative donor investment strategies available, as well as how to minimize tax exposure with tax-efficient charitable giving instruments.
Guests will enjoy gourmet bites from LouLou Cheese Trailer, a selection of local wines provided by the Land Conservancy, and have an opportunity to win a selection of door prizes.
The seminar is open to seasoned philanthropists, as well as those who are new to giving. It is also a terrific opportunity for non-profits and philanthropies to understand the ever-shifting landscape of charitable giving investing and tax exposures.
“San Luis Obispo is such a generous community, so we are honored to do our part in helping bolster this culture of philanthropy,” says Portfolio Manager and Senior Wealth Manager, Ashley Wilken, CFP®, who leads The Rice Partnership’s San Luis Obispo office.
